It's always great to share the difficulty abroad. At a personal level, I would have liked to meet when I arrived in the USA. It would have been nice to hear a realistic point of view of visa + job market, as it was a very painful experience for all my international friends + I. All my International friends from UChicago left the USA after 1 to 2 years of struggle because of visa / job market, so it's really tough.

It was always nice to talk with you about coming back as well as when you are an expatriate, it is actually very important to prepare that, too!

It is a great way to inform others about life outside of their own country and culture.

It's hard to find someone who is not only competent and passionate, but also willing to help you when you look for help abroad. Why would you go anywhere else? Now what I didn't expect is how motivational this would be!
